QuickBooks Error 3180
If you receive a message "Status: Code=3180" when trying to transfer data to QuickBooks, The following suggestions may resolve the problem.
- Make sure that the Customer/Job, and Item fields have an entry in them. QuickBooks requires these.
- If you are using Time to Time (Special Edition for QuickBooks Users) you need to verify that the "Use time data to create paychecks" in the Payroll and Compensation Info tab of the Employee Edit screen in QuickBooks matches the
field in the Setup screen of Time to Time Admin. If time is being used for payroll, you also need to select at least one payroll item and associate it with the Default Service Item. Check the manual for more information on this.
- If you are using Time to Time for Crews, you need to make sure that Personal data access is enabled in QuickBooks for this third party application. Also, if "Use time data to create paychecks" is enabled for this employee, a Payroll Item must be selected for each time entry.
